Simplify Route Redirects with the to_route() Helper Function

Replace verbose redirect()->route() chains with the concise to_route() global helper function.

Redirecting users to a named route after saving a form or updating a profile is one of the most common actions in controller methods.

Instead of writing return redirect()->route('posts.show', $post);, Laravel provides the to_route() global helper function.

Basic Usage

Custom Status Codes and Headers

to_route() accepts route parameters as the second argument, HTTP status codes as the third, and custom headers as the fourth:
